101 Dumbest moment in business

Business 2.0 has just published their latest “101 Dumbest moments in business” list.

Highlights include:

  • James Joseph Minder, former chairman of Smith & Wesson, who was forced to resign when it became known that he’d spent 15 years in jail for a string of armed robberies.
  • Former Bank of Ireland CEO, Michael Soden, who forbid porn surfing at work, outsourced the IT department to HP, and was subsequently busted with porn on his own computer.
  • A Pennsylvanian checkout worker who accepted a $200 note featuring a picture of George W. Bush and the serial number DUBYA4U2001.
