Since you are my readers, and I have not been much of a traveller, I will not talk about people a thousand miles off, but come as near home as I can. As the time is short, I will leave out all the flattery, and retain all the criticism. — Henry David Thoreau

I am impressed with your pictures of the murals! I am writing my thesis on the use of murals in Ireland to establish a revolutionary and counter revolutionary identity. Do you have any more mural photos other than the one’s you have posted? Also, may I have your permission to use your photos in my presentation in defense of my thesis?
    thanks! Hope you enjoyed Derry!

  3. Jimmy Harris Says:

Thanks guys, yes I do have some more pictures and I’ll send them through to you both once I’m back on broadband (should be within three or four days). Trish, you’re welcome to use the photos for your thesis presentation (and yes, I loved Derry!).

    Hi Jimmy,

I am very impressed by your photographs and would be eager to use them to support a piece of work looking at motivations behind popular support for paramilitary organisation. Could you please e-mail them to me? I am especially interested in the three Bogside photos.
    Many many thanks,

    Maria

  7. Jimmy Says:

    Hi Maria,

    Thanks for the compliments.

It’s probably easiest if you grab the high resolution photos directly from my Flickr photoset at http://www.flickr.com/photos/jimmyharris/sets/72157603892051180/.

If you’d still like me to email them, let me know.

    James
