After the drama and disenfranchisement of Florida in 2000, no-one should be surprised that international observers have reservations about the upcoming United States presidential election.
Pressured by Democratic representatives, an official request from the State Department means that Europe’s renowned Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will monitor November voting in Florida, Ohio, Arizona, Missouri, and Georgia.
