Evoting done right (in Australia)

With all the controversy raging in the US about the lack of security of their evoting machines, it’s nice to see an article on an Australian sucess in the area. Critically, the Australian solution is open source, has been reviewed by security experts, and the company is very serious about removing all bugs and vulnerabilities.

This attitude contrasts sharply with the long list of security problems with Diebold, a US developer of evoting technology run by a major Repbulican contributor who is “committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year”. More on Diebold is available here.
