Jimmy's weblog

Since you are my readers, and I have not been much of a traveller, I will not talk about people a thousand miles off, but come as near home as I can. As the time is short, I will leave out all the flattery, and retain all the criticism. — Henry David Thoreau

Apple - My favourite company

Thanks to a AUD$4,000 scholarship from Apple, I’m off to Macworld San Francisco in early January 2004. It’s been around three years since my last overseas trip (Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) so I have taken the opportunity to extend the trip around the world.

The current itinerary:

  • Sydney -> San Francisco 31/12/03
  • San Francisco -> New York 10/1/04
  • New York -> Stockholm 12/1/04
  • Stockholm -> Kuala Lumpur 19/1/04
  • Kuala Lumpur -> Sydney 28/1/04

I was hoping to visit Vietnam but Chinese New Year and the end of school holidays made it impossible to get a flight back to Australia until early February. Vietnam will just have to wait until the end of 2004.
